If the element is serviceable, remove the
electric heater assembly (See page 4-44).
NOTE: Most heater element assemblies
have a serviceable electric coil element and
others will be supplied as an assembly.
Remove two 1/4” hex head screws from the
bottom and side of the housing.
Slide the mounting bracket tab out of the
slot in the housing and remove it.

REMOVE THE HEATER COIL
Use one pair of pliers to hold the housing
and another pair of pliers to pull the heater
coil up out of the housing.

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
