Outrigger
No outrigger
operation
Limit Switch LS-1 Senses platform is in
elevated position
System Interuption
Outrigger switch inoperative
Directional pressure Valve not functioning
Check limit switch LS1 located L/R base area.
Check Limit Switch switch input using EZ-cal (EZ-Cal ID# 2d5)
Check HELP and MODE message on EZ-Cal
Check outrigger switch located in the upper control box
Located behind lower control box.
Inspect valve for power or damage.
Relocate unit to more level ground
Inspect/replace deploy valve found atop each outrigger cylinder (see
outrigger section for valve identification
Check pressure switches with outriggers retracted switches should be
open
First assure that the unit is level.
Use EZ-cal, Access level 2, SETUPS, TILT to Calibrate.
Correct wiring, refer to schematic diagram for correct wiring.
Inspect and replace as needed.
See outrigger section for hose routing detail
Set STEER relief valve to 2000 p.s.i.
Outriggers deploy
unevenly and/or unit
will not level
Unit on too extreme angle
Outrigger extend valve sticking open
Pressure switch stuck closed
Tilt sensor not calibrated or not calibrated
properly
Outrigger legs wired incorrectly or plug
P6-1 - 10 or P15-1 - 11 pined incorrectly
Damage to one or more outrigger legs
Outrigger hoses connected incorrectly
Pressure relief valve set too low
NOTE: To test for proper switch and solenoid operation and wire routing, follow the
outrigger test sequence found in
Ez-Cal Outrigger Test Mode
on page 4- 18.
