7.2 Remote Operating Parameters
Use the screens in Section 6.4.5 Remote Application to set the remote operating parameters for the
instrument command set, Ethernet, Serial (RS-232) and IEEE-488 (GPIB) communications.
7.3 Command Set
Command Set button – Users’ can select which model remote protocol they would like to emulate for
simulation and testing purposes. Selections may include the standard command sets or the optional
command sets selected in the Technical Assistance menu (Section 11):
Standard:
• Mensor (default)
• SCPI WIKA (The SCPI WIKA mode emulates the WIKA command set in SCPI format.)
• DPI 5XX
Optional:
• SCPI GE (The SCPI GE mode emulates the GE PACE command set in SCPI format.)
7.4 IEEE-488
IEEE-488 address button – Allows the user to set the GPIB address by inputting a numeric value utilizing
the touch screen.
