:SN[N]? Returns the serial number of device N. When N
is not specied, default is 1. If the device does
not exist, 0 is returned.

:TASK? Returns the active task set remotely. The short
string format is returned.
BAS (BASIC)
BURST (BURSTTEST)
DIV (DIVIDER)
LEAK (LEAKTEST)
PRE (PRESET)
SWITCH (SWITCHTEST)
PROG (TESTPROGRAM)
:TASK <CCC> Set the instrument task. Either the long or short
version may be sent. Makes the active screen on
the instrument be loaded. Loading a new task will
force any other tasks being run to be stopped.
Does not put the screen in keylock mode.
BAS/BASIC – loads home application
BUR/BURST/BURSTTEST – loads burst test ap-
plication
DIV/DIVIDER – loads step settings application
LEAK/LEAKTEST – loads leak test application
PRE/PRES/PRESET – loads step settings ap-
plication
SWI/SWITCH/SWITCHTEST – loads switch test
application
PROG/TEST/TESTPROGRAM – loads the pro-
grams application
:UNIT? Returns the active units string.
