Pre-treatment
Remove coarse soiling from very heavily soiled blankets with a strong jet of water or a vac-
uum cleaner.
Detergents
When washing, use a detergent without bleaching agents or optical brighteners.
Products with a slightly reduced pH-level should be used for blankets containing wool. If
necessary, products containing enzymes can be added.
However, if this is done, ensure that such products do not contain protease, as these en-
zymes will attach themselves to the wool and damage it.

Buckles
Metal buckles, hooks and eye fasteners must be covered to protect the drum.
