Communications Card Description ZB4-601-IF1, ZB4-609-IF1 4-53
Moeller 07/01 AWB-C2700-1347GB
NOTES (Continued)
The effective user data is less than the value specified as receive and send data.
The first 5 bytes of receive data and the first 2 bytes of send data (from the point of view of the PLC) are
header data and define the location of the user data, which in turn corresponds to the physical markers of
the PLC.
For this each device fitted with an ZB4-601/609-IF1 card requires a manufacturer-defined function block
assigned to it in the Suconet master. This module interprets the incoming data and copies it to the
markers or reads from them.
The name of the manufacturer-defined function block is “MI4netK” and is available in Sucosoft S 40. Refer
to the relevant Sucosoft documentation “AWB-C2700-1349GB ” for the exact use of this function block.
The ZB4-601/609-IF1 card must be set to “ALT” and the current PS40 driver (PS40.BIN) must be loaded
(for this see also sections 3.1).
The PLC must be in “RUN” status for active communication otherwise the “MI4netK” function block
cannot generate a response.
Remember also that the RS 485 protocol requires the bus terminating resistors of the first and last station
in the network to be switched on.
The following messages can be generated:
Suconet 1.00 CONNECT Master not available or cable break
Suconet 1.00 ADDRESS Marker address outside of permissible range
Suconet 1.00 PLCRUN Master PLC not in “RUN”
Suconet 1.00 TIMEOUT General Suconet
Suconet 1.00 PROTOCOL Application module not active or cycle time > 2.5 seconds
Suconet 1.00 READY Active data exchange
