NOTES
The SUCOM-A protocol of the programming device is used when connecting the ZB4-601/609-IF1 to the
PRG interface.
This is part of the OS of the PLC and active communication must be possible directly afterwards.
The ZB4-601/609-IF1 card must be set to “ALT” and the current PS40 driver (PS40.BIN) must be loaded
(for this see also sections 3.1).
The PLC must be in “RUN” status for active communication.
Ensure that the physical PRG interface matches that of the ZB4-601/609-IF1 (RS 232 or RS 485).
Remember also that the RS 485 protocol requires the bus terminating resistors of both stations to be
switched on.
The data exchange is only carried out with the physical markers of the PLC.
The following messages can be generated:
Suconet 1.00 CONNECT PLC not switched on or cable break
Suconet 1.00 ADDRESS Marker address outside of permissible range
Suconet 1.00 PLCRUN Master PLC not in “RUN”
Suconet 1.00 TIMEOUT Cycle time > 2.5 seconds
Suconet 1.00 PROTOCOL General protocol error
Suconet 1.00 READY Active data exchange
