SECTION 6: T200 FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW T200 User's Manual
PAGE 6-55
If the drive is powered down after the internal regeneration fuse has blown and then powered up again, the high voltage
D.C. Bus will not charge up and the T200 will report that all PSU related faults have occurred.
A.C. Mains PSU Temperature Fault [ F 4 ]
A PSU temperature fault occurs if the PSU main rectifier heatsink exceeds a pre-determined level. This can occur if the
cooling fan(s) fail or the airflow is restricted. When this fault occurs then the drive decelerates and disables and the fault
is latched.
Power Amplifier Temperature Fault [ F 5 ]
A power amplifier temperature fault occurs if the power inverter heatsink temperature exceeds a pre-determined level.
This fault should not occur if the Servo-drive is operated within its environmental specifications due to the operation of
thermal foldback self-protection algorithms. However the fault can occur if the cooling fan(s) fail or the airflow is
restricted. When this fault occurs then the drive decelerates and disables and the fault is latched.
Motor Temperature Fault [ F 6 ]
A motor temperature fault occurs if the temperature of the motor windings exceeds 155°C. This can occur if the motor is
operated outside its maximum continuous ratings or if the motor does not have adequate heatsinking. When this fault
occurs the drive is disabled and the fault is latched.
:- If this fault occurs then the operation of the cooling fan(s) and airflow
restrictions should be checked. If the fault still occurs then consult Moog for further
details.
CAUTION:- If this fault occurs then motor operation and motor mounting/cooling should
be checked. If the fault still occurs then consult Moog for further instructions.
CAUTION:- If a regeneration fuse blown fault occurs, the user should not attempt to
restart the drive. Consult Moog for further details.
CAUTION:- If this fault occurs then the operation of the cooling fan(s) and airflow
restrictions should be checked. If the fault still occurs then consult Moog for further
instructions.
