SECTION 10: TROUBLE-SHOOTING GUIDE T200 User's Manual
PAGE 10-7
10.3 Seven-Segment Display Status
The following section deals with T200 7-segment display status conditions. These are conditions that indicate to the user
a particular T200 state. They may or may not indicate real problems with the unit. For example, if the 7-segment display
is not illuminated, then there is no high voltage or logic backup power applied to the T200.
10.3.1 Fault Type: 7-Segment Display does not Illuminate
The 7-segment display will always illuminate when sufficient logic power is available in the T200. Logic power is
derived from the high voltage DC-Bus, or the 24V d.c. or 120V a.c. mains input.
Table 4: Causes of 7-Segment Display not illuminated
Cause Check/[Correction]
High Power source
has not been applied
The high voltage a.c. mains or the high voltage d.c. bus power is not available at TB2.
[Check the availability of high power by checking the status of the Mains-Applied and the
Bus-Active LED's]
24Vd.c. or 120Va.c.
Backup Power not
Applied
24V d.c. or 120Va.c. Logic backup power availability. [Check the presence of the user
supplied backup power source]
24V Backup Power
Reversed
The 24V d.c. power source pins have been reversed. [Check the polarity of the connection of
the 24Vd.c. inputs power connection on TB5. Note that the input has a resetable fuse. When
the polarity is corrected, the fuse will return to the conduction mode.]
10.3.2 Status Type: 'P' constantly on 7-segment Display
The 7-segment display will always illuminate when sufficient logic power is available in the T200. Logic power is
derived from the high voltage DC-Bus, or the 24V d.c. or 120V a.c. mains input.

Motor has not been
Configured
The motor has not been correctly configured. [Check Section 4.2 on how to configure a
standard or non-standard motor in the T200. Configure the motor, set-up the appropriate
control configuration in the T200 and save the configuration to the non-volatile storage.]
Incorrect Software
Configuration
The T200 software has been configured in a mode which does not allow it to continue
without risk of damage to the T200, the motor or the load. [Upload the motor configuration
using the WinDrive File-Configuration Upload command. Fax or email the uploaded .log
configuration file to the Moog Application Engineers.]
