SECTION 8: HAND-HELD-TERMINAL INTERFACE T200 User's Manual
PAGE 8-5
8.2 Servo-drive Initialization
1. Power should be applied to the T200 Series Servo-drive.
2. The 7 segment display will illuminate all segments for a period of about 5 seconds. After this time a ‘P’ character
will be displayed on the 7 segment display.
3. When the servo-drive has been properly initialised, then the appropriate fault, warning or operational status message
will be displayed on the 7 segment display.
4. If a fault or warning message is displayed, refer to Section 10, Troubleshooting and correct the fault before
proceeding.
If the EEPROM contains configuration data, the servo-drive will display the following message:
T200 Monitor:

- The installation and wiring described in Section 3 should be completed
and verified before proceeding with servo-drive initialization.
- The T200 Series Servo-drives with integrated power supply units
have a built in soft start feature. An on-board interlock disallows enabling of the
output inverter bridge until the soft start period has expired. This interlock
signal is also supplied to the user via the power ready relay. The output of the
power ready relay should be used in series with the enable interlock circuitry of
any T200 servo-drive without integrated power supply that takes its d.c. bus
power from the T200 with integrated power supply. Refer to Section 6.3.
- Perform all servo-drive initialization and configuration with the
servo-drive hardware enable OFF and power ON. Failure to follow the correct
procedure can result in machine damage and/or personal injury.
