SECTION 7: WINDRIVE T200 User's Manual
PAGE 7-21
Ø Invert System Ready Relay / Thermal Limit Output - For certain applications, it can be desirable to invert
the polarity of the System Ready Relay or Thermal Limit Output. These can be set in this dialog.
• Basic DriveSetup - A basic drive set up is the fastest means of manually tuning and configuring a drive. All
parameters essential for the basic set-up are set by the user.
• Quick Stop - Performs the same function as the F2 key or the Stop button of the Floating Toolbar. This function
performs a servo-stop on the connected motor.
• Enable Controller - The enable controller function is available by pressing F3, pressing the Enable button on the
Floating Toolbar and from the Drive Menu. This function enables the servo-drive to switch power to the connected
servomotor.
• Disable Controller - Also available from the Floating Toolbar or by pressing F4, the disable function removes
power from the motor.
• Broadcast (RS485 only) - Broadcast transmits Stop, Enable and Disable commands to every servo-drive in an
RS485 daisychain communications interface.
• Select Axis (RS485 only) - When operating in RS485 mode, each servo-drive is assigned an axis-identification
number via the two Hex switches on the T200 servo-drive. Select Axis (RS485 only) determines which servo-drive
is interfaced by WinDrive.
• Drive Status - Drive Status provides a table of current servo-drive data.
• Fault Status - Fault Status provides an overview of drive faults and warnings.
• Fault History - Fault History provides a list of errors recorded by the controller.
• Torque/Speed Trip Point - This dialog allows the user to set trip-points (which will in turn set digital outputs
high), when torque or velocity exceed certain value ranges around a particular set-point.
• Extended Function Cards - Extended Function Cards displays which option cards have been detected by the
WinDrive software.
• System Parameters - This option is only available in on-line mode and when Auto Tuning has been performed. It
displays the full set of system parameters.
• Apply Brake - Applies the optional motor brake.
• Release Brake - Releases the optional motor brake.
• Units - The units in which WinDrive displays torque, temperature, current, kt (torque constant), velocity,
inductance and inertia may be changed with this option.
7.8.3 Log Files Menu Options
• Start Record - In order to begin writing a log file, the Start Record option is
selected. The log file window is automatically updated as new parameters and commands
are entered. Current units are written to the window as soon as Record is selected.
• Stop Record - On completion of log file recording, Stop Record is selected.
• Clear Record - Clear record is used to erase the Log File Display Window. A Save
option is displayed before the current log file is cleared.

NOTE - The drive must be disabled before normal drive operation can be
resumed, after a Quick Stop has been activated.
