Note that the following user programmable parameters are available for the Encoder Input:-
Number of Lines per Revolution:- The user may program this parameter to set the number of encoder lines per
revolution of the motor shaft. This allows the T200 software to translate a rotary encoder's shaft position into its own
internal position units for motion control calculations.
Zero-Marker Offset:- The user may program the offset (in lines) between the encoder’s actual zero-marker and that
which is registered in software. This function is reserved for future motion control functionality.
Present Position:- The present position of the encoder, in lines, may be examined by reading this parameter. This
feature is useful for debug of encoder cabling and setup.
