b) Non Standard Motor Selection
Non-standard motor entry should only be necessary when using MOOG's older 30X series motors, when using MOOG
custom designed motors, or when configuring the T200 to function with a motor from another manufacturer. For non-
standard motors, the parameters necessary for drive interfacing must be known (or determined) by the user.
To view or edit non-standard motor data, the user should first click on the Non-Standard field of the Motor Type
section of the Select Motor dialog. The Motor List will automatically change to display all 'known' non-standard
motors, i.e. 30X series, MOOG custom designed motors and previously edited non-MOOG motors. These 'known'
motors can be selected and their parameters be viewed and downloaded in the same way as the standard MOOG motors.

Parameter information for non-standard motors may be added to a non-standard motor database by selecting the Add
Motor button. Information may also be removed by selecting the motor and then clicking on the Remove Motor button.
Parameters may be edited by the user by selecting the Edit button.
CAUTION: Entry of invalid non-standard motor data may cause non-optimal performance of the
motor, or in an extreme case, damage to the user's machine.
If the non-standard motor is manufactured by MOOG, the non-standard motor data set is available
from MOOG, and the user may already possess this data. However the T200 Current Loop Gains
may not be known by the user. The user should consult MOOG Applications Engineering if he does
not know the value of all of the motor parameters required above.
