After entering the SSM command, the user should then enter a valid motor model number. An example of such a model
number is given below.

The servo-drive is pre-programmed with all motor parameters for standard motor models, (refer to Tables 4-4 and 4-5).
For non-standard motor models the user must manually enter the motor parameters (refer to Section Non-Standard
Motor Configuration).
Upon entry of the motor model number the T200 will respond as follows:

The T200 has now initialised and has set its parameters to the following default values before returning to the input
prompt
§ Servo-drive in Velocity Mode.
§ Limit switches enabled.
§ Manual mode enabled.
§ Speed scaling set to nominal value of motor speed.
§ Low P gain and long I time constant for velocity loop compensator.
This new configuration data will be lost when power is removed unless it is saved to the Flash EEPROM. However, all
setup and tuning procedures of Section 6 should be completed before performing this step.
NOTE - It is important that the motor model number is entered correctly as the T200 Series
Servo-drive sets many parameters automatically based on this configuration. It is also important
to confirm that the proper servo-drive model is connected to the proper motor. The servo-drive
type can be checked by using the 'LC' command. The motor type can be checked by using the

previous tuning information to be lost.
