10.5.6 Warning Type: U6 (External Regen Resistor Warning) on 7-segment
Display
The U6 warning is displayed when the thermal rating of the external regeneration resistor has been exceeded. The T200
can generate torque in the motor when U6 is present.

The T200 monitors the external regeneration resistor load cycle to check if its continuous
rating is exceeded. Check using the Hand Held Terminal's ?LRR command what is the
average power dissipation in the external resistor. Compare this number against the ratings
provided in Section 3.13.
[Decrease the duty cycle, by reduction of the acceleration and deceleration, and/or the
frequency of the movement.]
