10.5.10 Warning Type: Ub (Stepper or Inc. Encoder Warning) on 7-segment
Display
The Ub warning is displayed when the incremental encoder or stepper motor interface cable is disconnected. The T200
can still generate motor torque when Ub is displayed.

J5 Cabling Mis-wired
or Disconnected
The pins at J5 have been mis-wired or the cabling to J5 has become disconnected
[Check the wiring requirements in Section 3.16.]
Stepper Interface or
Incremental Encoder
not Connected
The stepper motor command generation unit or incremental encoder has become
disconnected.
[Plug in the stepper interface or incremental encoder.]
RS422 Interface
voltage levels
inadequate
The voltage levels are inadequate. Check:
Recommended cable type or equivalent type is used. Cable with characteristic
impedance of 120Ohms is recommended.
Cable Termination of 120Ohms is already provided in the T200. Ensure that no extra
termination was provided by the user.
Connection of all pins, especially the GND and Cable-Shield connections, at all
connected end of the cabling.
§ Use a driver with a higher voltage drive capability at the user's control computer end.
