Powering up your notebook
Your notebook can be powered up using the AC adapter, a removable lithium-ion
battery, or an optional factory installed dual battery configuration.
Connecting the AC adapter
The AC adapter powers up your notebook and charges the battery.
• Connect the AC adapter to the DC-in jack of your notebook.
• Connect the AC adapter to the power cord.
• Plug the power cord to an electrical outlet.
