General Description
This feature allows a calling number and name sent from Central Office to be received as MODEM signals
when calls terminate from the analog trunk and provides following services:

term
LCD may display the calling number and name.
•
The calling number received by using this feature or current MF/ISDN feature may be added to
SMDR output.
Operating Procedure
No manual operation is required.
Service Conditions
1. This feature is available for Series 6100 software or later.
2. When the calling number and name are not received, the D
term
LCD displays the trunk class.
3. This service is available only when an incoming call terminates to a D
term
from Central Office
directly. For example, when terminating via the Attendant Console, the calling number and name
are not displayed.
4. When a call is sent through CCIS, 16-digit dial code may be transferred. The calling name
(characters) may not be transferred.
5. The calling numbers received by using this feature or current MF/ISDN feature may be output to
the SMDR expanded area.
6. A Calling number can not be received during conversation.
7. The calling numbers which may be added to SMDR output are the dial code only. The calling
name (characters) is not added.
8. This service is not provided for the Attendant Console.
9. This service is not applied to SAVE AND REPEAT - D
term
[S-24D] service. The calling number
received may not be saved.
10. Maximum 256 calls per LP are available at the same time.
11. Receiving buffer for the Caller ID is checked during cyclic diagnostics for any uncleared data.
12. When an incoming call is sent as a test, the LCD does not display both the number and the name.
13. If a station answers an incoming C.O. call and transfers the call to a trunk, the display of the
destination party is as follows:
