UX5000 IP Terminal Features
UX5000 IP Resource Manual 7 - 19
SECTION 10 XML: SCREEN SAVER
The Screen Saver feature is supported on the IP-CTS, Enhanced, and Value display
terminals with UX5000 software 2.a5 or higher and IP firmware 92.2.2.0 or higher.
This feature is activated under the User Setting-Display menu when the MENU button
is pressed . The screen saver will activate after being idle based on the timer set
(1~120 minutes). It will stop when the terminal becomes active (user operation, LCD
backlit condition, incoming call, XML operation, when pressing the SPK, line keys, or
Programmable Function Keys). While the screen saver is active, ringing, LEDs, BGM
and Paging are supported.
This option requires the use of an HTTP server, like IIS.
If the terminal loses the connection to the server, the screen saver image will
default to the "Zzz.." image until the user reactivates the XML screen saver
application.
Only one graphic can be used as the Screen Saver. Multiple images are not
available.
By default, the screen saver displays "Zzz..". This can be changed by downloading a
new graphic which meets the following specification:
Format: BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, NIP
Graphic Size/Color Level:
6-Button Terminal: 41 x 168 dot, grayscale (8 gray level)
12/24/DESI-less Terminal: 96 x 224 dot, grayscale (8 gray level)
IP-CTS Terminal: 320 x 240 dot, 16 bit (65535) color
GZIP Compressed
Maximum File Size: 320KB
