4.6 Explanation of I/O
4.6.1 Terminal Block I/O
(1) READY output
This output switches ON when the following conditions are satisfied (same as READY LED):
o RUN mode
o There is no error.
(2) STOP 1 / 2 (B-contact)
The STOP input signals stop positioning operations. When positioning operations are executed,
these signals should be ON. When the STOP input is OFF, all positioning operations will be
disabled and all motor control outputs will be switched OFF.
STOP 1 used for axis 1 and STOP 2 used for axis 2.
4.6.2 Connector I/O
(1) Forward output
Motor control output for positioning operation.
“Speed switching” format: Forward
“Speed stepping” format: Forward/low-speed
(2) Reverse output
Motor control output for positioning operation.
“Speed switching” format: Reverse
“Speed stepping” format: Reverse/low-speed
(3) High-speed output
Motor control output for positioning operation.
(4) Low-speed / Medium-speed output
Motor control output for positioning operation.
“Speed switching” format: Low-speed
“Speed stepping” format: Medium-speed
(5) Brake release output
Brake release output for positioning operation
(6) In-position output
This output switches ON at positioning completed when the current position value enters
the “In-position” zone.
(7) Positioning in progress output
This signal switches ON during positioning operations.
(8) Operation error output
This signal switches ON during positioning operations when an error occurs.
(9) Current position value preset 1/ 2 output
This signal is used to execute the current position preset operation. When this input signal
switches ON, the current position preset operation will be executed.
