7.5.2 Designation of positioning direction (I/O address: 12299 [12363])
The positioning direction (for unidirectional positioning) is designated as FWD (forward) or RVS
(reverse).
The positioning direction is designated by the parameter setting as follows:
0: FWD (forward) direction
1: RVS (reverse) direction
7.5.3 Designation of overshoot amount (I/O address: 12300 [12364])
The overshoot amount is effective during unidirectional positioning operations, designating how far
the target position is to be overshot when positioning is executed from the opposite direction as the
prescribed positioning direction.
7.5.4 Designation of medium-speed zone, low-speed zone, stop zone, and In-position zone
(I/O address: 12301 to 12304 [12365 to 12368])
The medium-speed zonesetting is used only with the speed stepping positioning format, and
designates the distance (prior to the target position) over which medium-speed positioning is to occur.
This setting is inoperative when the speed switchingpositioning format is used.
The low-speed zonesetting designates the distance (prior to the target position) over which
low-speed positioning is to occur.
The stop zone setting designates the distance between the point where the positioning brake is
applied, and the target position.
The In-position zone setting designates a reference distance from the target position, with this
distance being used to determine if positioning has stopped at the target position.
7.5.5 Designation of upper and lower limits (I/O address: 12305, 12306 [12369, 12370])
If the ABSOCODER sensor current position value exceeds the upper limit value, the VS-212DN will
turn the upper limit signal (status 0/1: 0 bit) ON. If it exceeds the lower limit value, the lower limit
signal (status 0/1: 1 bit) will be turned ON.
Even if these signals come ON, VS-212 operation will be continued. If desired, a stop can be
designated in the sequence program.
7.5.6 Start from stop zone setting (I/O address: 12307 [12371])
This setting determines whether or not positioning will be executed when the positioning START
position is already in the stop zone.
