8.4.1 Number of protected channels (I/O address: 4100 [4164])
A ‘protected channel’ is a ‘channel’ where settings cannot be changed or deleted in PRGM mode
(manual mode) of the external setting unit (VS-T62 or VS-T62B). The relationship between the
‘number of protected channels’ setting value and the corresponding channel Nos. as follows:
0: None
1: Channel No. 0
2: Channel Nos. 0 – 1
:
16: Channel Nos. 0 – 15
(1) To cancel the protected channel setting, enter ‘0’ as the setting value for ‘Protected switch’
(parameter No. 65).
(2) This setting is effective only when the VS-T62 or VS-T62B is connected.
8.4.2 Offline output status setting – TEST, INIT, PRM and PRGM mode (I/O address: 4101 [4165])
Designates the limit switch output status when offline in the TEST, INIT, PRM, and PRGM mode.
0: All outputs OFF (TEST mode), All outputs OFF (INIT, PRM and PRGM mode)
1: Hold (TEST mode), Hold (INIT, PRM and PRGM mode)
2: All outputs OFF → output (TEST mode), All outputs OFF (INIT, PRM and PRGM mode)
3: Hold → output (TEST mode), Hold (INIT, PRM and PRGM mode)
A ‘Hold’ setting means that the most recent limit switch output status of each channel is maintained.
However, if the power is turned OFF when an ‘output Hold’ status exists, that limit switch output will be
turned OFF when the power is turned back ON.
A ‘→ output’ means that limit switch output is executed by pressing [SET] key of the VS-T62 or
VS-T62B.
8.4.3 Offline output status setting – RUN mode (I/O address: 4102 [4166])
Designates the limit switch output status when offline in the RUN mode.
0: All outputs OFF
1: Hold
A ‘Hold’ setting means that the most recent limit switch output status of each channel is maintained.
However, if the power is turned OFF when an ‘output Hold’ status exists, that limit switch output will be
turned OFF when the power is turned back ON.
