(14) Current position preset input response time
This is the response time after the current position preset input turned ON until the VS-212DN
presets the current position. The response time of the current position preset varies depending on
the setting of the current position preset function.
a) Parameter format: 1, Buffer memory format: 2 (max. 6 ms)
b) Sequence format: 3
In case of the sequence format, the response time of the current position preset varies
depending on the number of units to be connected and the baud rate (DeviceNet).
The response time as shown below is a reference value under the following conditions:
1) PLC scan time: 4 ms
2) DeviceNet: 500kbs
3) Slave connection init: VS-212DN (1 unit)
(15) For the buffer memory format and sequence format, the preset data becomes effective 20 ms after
the preset data is written to I/O addresses. This time period is based on the following conditions:
1) PLC scan time: 4 ms
2) DeviceNet: 500kbs
3) Slave connection unit: VS-212DN (1 unit)
When the preset input or the preset command is executed within 20 ms, the previous preset value
may be used. Extreme attention must be paid for applications that use preset data from the PLC
depending on the conditions.
