3-2 Multi-channel Control
3-2-1 Application
In this example configuration, an EJ1 controls a 4-zone heater plate.
• A single Temperature Controller can handle the 4-zone control if a 4-
channel Basic Unit (EJ1@-TC4) is used. Up to 16 Basic Units can be con-
nected to one EJ1C-EDU End Unit to expand to a maximum of 64 chan-
nels.
Also, the Temperature Controller's settings, operation, and monitoring can
be performed from a Programmable Terminal (without creating a commu-
nications program) by using Smart Active Parts (SAP).
