Disconnect Cables From the Server
Caution - The system supplies standby power to the circuit boards when the power cords are
connected even when the system is powered off.
1.
Label all cables connected to the server.
2.
Power down the server.
See “Power Off the Server” on page 38.
3.
Disconnect the power cords from the rear of the server.
4.
Disconnect all data cables from the rear of the server.
5.
Gain access to the internal server components.
