5. Measure the thickness of the pad material. Replace
pads if worn beyond the service limit.
Rear Brake Pad Thickness:
.298 + .007″ (7.56 + .178 mm)
Service Limit .180″ (4.6 mm)
PAD INSTALLATION
1. Install new pads in caliper body with spring installed
between pads at (A).
2. Install caliper and torque mounting bolts.
TORQUE
Rear Brake Caliper Mounting Bolt:
18 ft-lb (25 Nm)
3. Turn adjuster screw back in finger tight using a hex
wrench.
4. Slowly pump the brake pedal until pressure has been
built up. Maintain at least 1/2"(12.7 mm) of brake
fluid in the reservoir to prevent air from entering the
master cylinder.
