SAFETY INFORMATION
BATTERY HANDLING WARNINGS
Before you begin work on the vehicle, review all battery
safety and handling precautions in chapter 1.
WARNING
Use insulated tools or insulate any tools used within the
battery area to prevent sparks or battery explosion
caused by shorting the battery terminals or wiring.
Remove any jewelry, rings. bracelets, etc.
SERVICE PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
The main power connector must be disconnected
before working on the electrical system or drive motor.
WARNING
Make sure the vehicle is properly immobilized before
beginning any maintenance or repair.
Always block the chassis securely and set the parking
brake before working under the vehicle.
