TRANSAXLE SERVICE
TRANSAXLE REMOVAL
1. Position vehicle on a level surface and block the
wheels.
2. Disconnect Main Power Connector under the seat.
3. Remove cargo box (See Chapter 4).
4. Remove parking brake caliper bracket (See Chapter
7).
5. Drain transaxle lubricant (See Chapter 2).
6. Remove drive motor (See Chapter 3).
7. Remove rear upper transaxle mounting bolt and
remove bracket from frame (4 bolts).
8. Elevate rear of vehicle and safely support machine
under the rear frame area.
WARNING
Serious injury may result if machine tips or falls. Be
sure machine is secure before beginning this service
procedure. Always wear eye protection.
9. Remove both rear wheels and disconnect transaxle
vent hose (A) and differential solenoid wire harness
(B).
10. Release brake lines from guides (C) on upper A-arm.
