Introduction
In the list below, each parameter is identied as follows:
Parameter number – This is a unique identier for each parameter (e.g. P1.1.4). The preceding letter "P" designates this
as a parameter number.
Parameter name – This is a short, descriptive name for the parameter that is more intuitive than a number.
Menu path – This is the menu path required to navigate to that parameter to view or modify it. The menu path is the same
whether navigating to the parameter through the front panel LCD or the menu tree within FlexFit Edit. See section "Oper-
ating the FlexFit" on page 3-40, for instructions on operating the LCD screen.
Password level – A user must be logged in to modify parameters, though anyone may view them. The password level
indicates the minimum password level required to make changes to a parameter; the user must be logged in at the same
or higher level to change that parameter. See section "Passwords" on page 3-45, for more information.
Restricted status – Restricted parameters cannot be modied any time the burner is ring or any time it is starting up or
shutting down, regardless of the active password level. To change a restricted parameter, the burner must be in standby
or lockout. Unrestricted parameters may be changed at any time except safe start check and prestart (if the required
password level is active).
Description – This is text that explains the function of each parameter to assist the commissioning engineer with the correct
setting for that parameter. Some parameters or parameter sections have more lengthy descriptions where a detailed
explanation is necessary.
Options – This is a list or range of the possible settings for each parameter. The selection in bold indicates the default option.
Notes – When additional warnings or clarifying information is required, the use of notes is made.
Error Checks – If you are unable to change a parameter from the LCD or if the FlexFit gives you a "Parameter Error:
<Parameter Name>" during safe start check, then verify the correct password level is active (and not timed out) and see
if you violated the error checks for the specied parameter.
Flame Safety
Flame Safety > Basic
The desired fuel is selected via the fuel select switch. The burner will light off on the selected fuel. If the selected fuel is changed,
the FlexFit will put the burner back in standby and restart with the new selected fuel without any required operator assistance. Param-
eters "P1.1.1 Fuel 1 Enable" and "P1.1.2 Fuel 2 Enable" determine which fuel type is being used and displayed on the LCD screen.
P1.1.1 Fuel 1 enable
Menu > Setup > Flame Safety Password Level: Engineer Restricted? Yes
This disables/enables fuel 1 and selects what type of fuel is being used. When fuel 1 is selected, the FlexFit screen will display the
label selected here.
