Trip Messages
The following messages appear if a trip limit is not energized (or made) when it should be energized. When a recycling trip
occurs, the burner will shutdown and will automatically restart when the limit is again made. When a non-recycling trip occurs, the
burner will shutdown until the RESET button is pressed.
A non-recycling limit can be either a hold or lockout message. A lockout is when the FlexFit immediately shuts down boiler
operation until the RESET button is pressed, and a hold is when the FlexFit waits (holds) its operation until the limit is made. A limit
will not hold indenitely; either the limit will make, or a lockout will result. See parameters "P1.2.7 HOLD Alarm Delay" and "P1.2.8
HOLD Lockout Delay" on page 4-62 for hold time delay seconds.
<Terminal> Relay was OFF, should be ON Lockout
Relay output <terminal> did not have 120 VAC present when it should have. Incorrect wiring, electrical noise or defective relay.
Check eld wiring. If error re-occurs, contact the factory for repair instructions.
<Terminal> Relay was ON, should be OFF Lockout
Relay output <terminal> had 120 VAC present when it should not have. Electrical noise, a eld wiring short, or a defective relay
could be to blame. Check eld wiring, direct shorts can weld contacts closed. If error re-occurs, contact the factory for repair
instructions.
Aux1 (or Aux2 or Aux3) Not Assigned to Buttons 3, 4, or 5 Lockout
If an output is assigned a function of Aux1 (or Aux2 or Aux3) the function must also be assigned a button set.
Aux (or Aux 2 or Aux 3) Not At Position Hold then Lockout
See section ""... Not at Position" Lockouts" on page 5-87.
BMS/CC2/LCD Parameters don't match CC Hold then Lockout
The parameter data in the FlexFit has gotten out-of-sync.
Button Set 3 (or 4 or 5), Invalid Device Selected Lockout
If a button set is assigned a function other than "Disabled", there must be a corresponding output with that function
Button Set Assignment Error Lockout
A rule for button set assignment has been violated.
Button Set Error: Aux2 Servo Not Detected Lockout
A button set is assigned Aux2 Servo and the Aux2 servo cannot be found.
Button Set Error: Multiple Aux2 Selected Lockout
Only one button set may have one of the Aux2 function types (Aux2 Servo, Aux2 4-20, or Aux 2 4-20 FGR).
Call For Heat Open Recycling Limit
Call for heat means a burner start request has been made by a local source, a remote source (T17 or Modbus), or a setpoint
deviation. When it is open, the burner shuts down.
CC Safe Start Error Lockout
The CC did not complete a safe start within 130 seconds.
Combustion Curves Don't Match Fan Speed Lockout
The fan feedback signal does not match what the combustion curves have for fan speed.
