P4.1.6 alarM delay Sec, draFt
Menu > Setup > Draft Password Level: Operator Restricted? No
This determines the draft alarm delay (seconds). If the measured draft is greater than "P4.1.5 Low Alarm SP, Draft" for longer than
"Alarm Delay Sec, Draft" seconds, the draft high-pressure alarm will be triggered.
Options: 0 to 60 [Default 8]
P4.1.7 draFt SetPoInt
Menu > Setup > Draft Password Level: Operator Restricted? No
Determines the draft setpoint to which the FlexFit will control.
Options: -25.000 to 25.000 [Default 0.100]
Note "Draft Setpoint" is manually set by the operator.
Draft Control > Tuning
P4.2.1 ProPortIonal band, draFt
Menu > Tuning > Draft > Tuning Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
The draft change that causes the control to go from full-speed closing to full-speed opening. A smaller value causes more control
action.
Example:
Proportional Band = 0.600; Setpoint = -0.10"
When draft = +0.20", the damper will be opening at full speed.
When draft = 0.00", the damper will be opening at 33% speed.
When draft = -0.25", the damper will be closing at 50% speed.
When draft = -0.40", the damper will be closing at full speed.
Options: 0.200 to 15.000 [Default 0.600]
Notes Full speed is determined by "P4.2.4 Sec/90 Deg Damper Rate Limit, Draft".
If "Proportional Band, Draft" is too small, then the damper can oscillate.
P4.2.2 deadband, draFt
Menu > Tuning > Draft > Tuning Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
This determines the oating draft deadband. The oating control output stops changing and holds at the current value when the
measured draft is within ± the "Deadband, Draft". This prevents draft controller hunting when the measured draft is near the setpoint.
Options: 0.010 to 0.500 [Default 0.030]
Note If this value is too small, then the damper can oscillate.
P4.2.3 FIlter Sec, draFt xMtr
Menu > Tuning > Draft > Tuning Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
This will dampen furnace draft pulsations. Larger values cause more damping.
Options: 0.5 to 5.0 [Default 2.0]
Note Excessively large lter times may cause control cycling.
P4.2.4 Sec/90 deg daMPer rate lIMIt, draFt
Menu > Tuning > Draft > Tuning Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
This limits the damper servo output rate-of-change to prevent over controlling. Set this value to the servo speed (seconds it takes
the servo to move 90 degrees) or to a slower value.
Options: 36 to 60 [Default 36]
Error Check If a parameter error occurs for this parameter, it means this parameter is set too fast. You must enter a higher (slower)
number.
P4.2.5 Max daMPer deg. In auto, draFt
Menu > Tuning > Draft > Tuning Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
Limits the maximum damper position in automatic to prevent reset windup and oscillations.
Options: 20.00 to 200.00 [Default 100.00]
Error Check P4.2.5 must be greater than P4.2.6.
P4.2.6 MIn daMPer deg. In auto, draFt
Menu > Tuning > Draft > Tuning Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
Limits the minimum damper position in automatic to prevent reset windup and oscillations.
Options: -20.00 to 90.00 [Default 0.00]
Error Check P4.2.5 must be greater than P4.2.6.
