rate is overridden and proportionally cutback. The cutback proportional band will equal (0.5 * P3.2.1). See "P3.2.1 Proportional Band,
Rate PID" on page 4-71.
Options: 0.5 to 2000.0 [Default 2000.0]
Note 2000.0 disables the remote rate cutback logic.
P3.4.9 reMote SP SPan
Menu > Optional Features > Local/Remote Mode Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
This determines the remote setpoint signal span for the 4-20 mA input. This is the remote setpoint signal scaling for an input of 20 mA.
Options: 0.0 to 2000.0 [Default 200.0]
Error Check The absolute value of P3.4.9 - P3.4.10 must be greater than 20.0.
P3.4.10 reMote SP zero
Menu > Optional Features > Local/Remote Mode Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
This determines the remote setpoint signal zero for the 4-20 mA input. This is the remote setpoint signal scaling for an input of 4 mA.
Options: 0.0 to 2000.0 [Default 0.0]
Error Check The absolute value of P3.4.9 - P3.4.10 must be greater than 20.0.
Firing Rate > LFH-DHW-Warm Standby
P3.5.1 t27 oPtIonS
Menu > Optional Features > LFH DHW WarmStndby Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
This determines the operating logic of terminal 27. If installed, T27 energizes via an external temperature switch.
Options: Disable: T27 is not used.
Warm Standby w/ LFH: T27 is used as a boiler temperature switch. When T27 energizes, the FlexFit will start the
boiler and hold it at low re. When the boiler warms up, T27 opens and the boiler stops.
Low Fire Hold Only: T27 is used as a boiler temperature switch. T27 will not start the boiler, but when the boiler
starts for some other reason, the FlexFit will hold the boiler at low re until T27 opens or until the time "P3.5.3 Low
Fire Hold, Override Seconds" has elapsed.
DHW: T27 is used as a Domestic Hot Water (DHW) temperature switch. When T27 energizes, the FlexFit will start
the boiler and modulate until T27 opens.
DHW w/SP Override: T27 is used as a Domestic Hot Water temperature switch. When T27 energizes, the FlexFit
will start the boiler and modulate until T27 opens. Additionally, if parameter "P3.5.2 DHW, Rate PID Override SP"
is greater than the PID temperature setpoint, the FlexFit will start the boiler and modulate to the higher setpoint to
ensure that DHW heating requirements are satised.
Error Check If "P3.1.1 Local Firing Rate Control Source" equals 135 Ohm Demand or 4-20 P7810 Demand, then "T27 Options"
cannot equal DHW w/SP Override.
P3.5.2 dhw, rate PId oVerrIde SP
Menu > Optional Features > LFH DHW WarmStndby Password Level: Technician Restricted? No
If "P3.5.1 T27 Options" is set to DHW w/SP Override, this determines the Domestic Hot Water (DHW) override setpoint.
Options: 0.0 to 2000.0 [Default 180.0]
Error Check "DHW, Rate PID Override SP" must be between "P3.2.5 Rate Min SP" and "P3.2.4 Rate Max SP".
P3.5.3 low FIre hold, oVerrIde SecondS
Menu > Optional Features > LFH DHW WarmStndby Password Level: Operator Restricted? No
If "P3.5.1 T27 Options" is set to Low Fire Hold Only, this determines how long the FlexFit will wait before overriding the low re hold
and releasing the burner to modulate.
Options: 1 to 1800 [Default 300]
Firing Rate > Cold Start Warmup
Due to the stress created by thermal expansion, some boilers require a slow warmup if the boiler is cold. If this is enabled by
parameter "P3.6.1 Cold Start Warmup Option", the cycle will commence after MTFI as follows:
1. If boiler outlet < "P3.6.2 Activate SP, Cold Start", the cold start cycle is activated; otherwise, modulation starts as normal.
2. Firing rate is set to 0% and the warmup setpoint becomes (boiler outlet + setpoint step). The override timer starts.
3. When either the boiler outlet is > the warmup setpoint or the override timer > parameter "P3.6.6 Firing Step Override
Minutes, Cold Start", the next step in the cold start cycle is begun.
New warmup setpoint = old warmup setpoint + "P3.6.4 Setpoint Step, Cold Start"
New ring rate = old ring rate + "P3.6.5 Firing Rate Step, Cold Start"
