Youmustensureallfuelllsarerecordedusingthe

Fromthefuelmanagerpage:
1.WhenllingthetanksuntilfullselectAlltanks
full.
Theestimatedfuelremainingisresettothevalue
ofyourfueltankscapacity.
2.Whenonlypartiallyllingthetankmakeanote
ofthevolumeoffueladdedtothetankandthen
selectAddpartialll.
3.Enterthevaluenotedearlierthiswillbeaddedto
yourcurrentfuelremaininggure.
Note:Itisrecommendedthatyouperforman‘All
tanksfull’llupasregularlyaspossibleaspartial
llswillcauseahighercumulativeinaccuracyin
theprovidedcalculations.
Settingthelowfuelalarm
Usingthefuelmanageralsoallowsyoutosetalow
fuelalarmwhich,ifactivated,issoundedwhenyour
vessel’sremainingfuelfallstoaspeciedvalue.
Withthefuelmanagerturnedonandsetupcorrectly:
1.FromthehomescreenselectSet-Up.
2.SelectAlarms.
3.SelectFuelmanager.
Thelowfuelalarmsettingsaredisplayed.
4.SelectLowFuelsothatOnishighlighted.
SelectingLowFuelwillturnthelowfuelalarm
OnorOff.
5.SelectFuelLevel.
Thefuellevelnumericadjustcontrolisdisplayed.
6.Adjustthefuelleveltotherequiredvalue.
Thelowfuelalarmwillnowbesoundedwhenthe
fuelremaininginthetankfallstothevaluespecied.
Note:Bydefaultthelowfuelalarmisswitchedoff.
Resettingfuelusedreadings
Youcanresetthevalueofthefuelusedthisseason
orfuelusedthistripbyfollowingthestepsbelow.
Fromthefuelmanagerpage:
1.SelectResetagainstfuelusedthisseason,or
2.SelectResetagainstfuelusedthistrip.
ThevalueissettozeroafterResethasbeen
selected.
Note:PerformingaSeasonresetautomatically
resetsthetripvalue.
Fuelrangerings
Thefuelrangeringgivesanestimatedrangethat
canbereachedwiththeestimatedfuelremaining
on-board.
Thefuelrangeringcanbedisplayedgraphicallyin
thechartapplicationandindicatesanestimated
rangethatcanbereachedwiththe:
•Currentrateoffuelconsumption.
•Estimatedfuelremainingon-board.
•Courseremaininginastraightline.
•Currentspeedmaintained.
Note:
Thefuelrangeringisanestimatedrangethatcan
bereachedatthecurrentrateoffuelconsumption,
ofthefuelonboardandbasedonanumberof
externalfactorswhichcouldeitherextendor
shortentheprojectedrange.
Thisestimateisbasedondatareceivedfrom
externalfuelmanagementdevices,orviatheFuel
Manager.Itdoesnottakeintoaccountprevailing
conditionssuchastide,current,seastate,wind
etc.
Youshouldnotrelyonthefuelrangeringfeature
foraccuratevoyageplanningorinemergencyand
safetycriticalsituations.
