connection.

•Only1multifunctiondisplaymaybeoperatedby
aremotecontrolunitatanyonetime.Youcannot
pairamultifunctiondisplaytomorethan1remote
controlatthesametime.
•The3buttonsontheremotecontrolunithave
differentfunctionsdependingontheCONTEXTin
whichyouareusingit.Forexample,inthechart
applicationthebuttonscontroldifferentfunctions
thantheydointhehomescreen.
•Allfunctionsareaccessedusingacombinationof
the3buttons.Forsomefunctionsyoumustpress
abuttonMOMENTARILY .YoucanalsoHOLD
abuttonforcontinuousresponse(forexample,
continuousranginginthechartapplication).
•Themainmethodsofoperationinvolvetheuse
oftheUPandDOWN“arrow”buttonstohighlight
differenton-screenoptions.TheSHORTCUT
buttonisusedtoselect(execute)them.
•Duringthepairingprocessyoumustdenewhich
ofthearrowbuttonsyouwanttobethe“UP”
button.
•TheSHORTCUTbuttoniscustomizableandcan
beconguredtooperateoneofanumberof
functions,usingtheSystemSettingsmenuon
yourmultifunctiondisplay.
PairingtheremoteandconguringtheUP
andDOWNbuttons
Theremotecontrolunitmustbe“paired”withthe
multifunctiondisplaythatyouwanttocontrol.On
yourmultifunctiondisplay,withthehomescreen
displayed:
1.SelectSet-up.
2.SelectSystemSettings.
3.SelectWirelessConnections.
4.SelectBluetooth>On.
5.SelectNewBluetoothConnection.
Apop-upmessagewillbedisplayedtoconrm
thatthedeviceyouareconnectingtois
discoverable.
6.SelectOktoconrm.
Alistofdiscovereddevicesisdisplayed.
7.Onyourremotecontrolunit,holddowntheUP
andDOWNbuttonstogetherfor10seconds.
8.Selecttheremotecontrolunitinthelistof
devices.
9.Whenprompted,pressthearrowbuttononyour
remotethatyouwishtobeconguredastheUP
button.Theotherarrowbuttonwillautomatically
beconguredastheDOWNbutton.
Ifthepairingwassuccessfula“PairingSuccess”
messagewillbedisplayed.Ifa“PairingFailure”
or“PairingTimeout”messageisdisplayed,
repeatsteps1to8.
CustomizingtheSHORTCUTbutton
Onyourmultifunctiondisplay,withthehomescreen
displayed:
1.SelectSet-up.
2.SelectSystemSettings.
3.SelectExternalDevices.
4.SelectRemoteControl.
5.SelectCustomizeshortcutkey.
6.Selectthefunctionthatyouwanttoassigntothe
SHORTCUTkey.
