theheadingmode.Whenthiscircleisadjustedto
alignwithatarget,itsrangefromyourvesselis
measuredanddisplayedontheRadarcontextmenu
whenyouselecttheVRMwiththecursor.
ElectronicBearingLines(EBL)
AnElectronicBearingLine(EBL)isalinedrawn
fromyourvesseltotheedgeofthewindow.When
thislineisrotatedtoalignwithatarget,itsbearing
relativetoyourvessel’sheadingismeasuredand
displayedontheRadarcontextmenuwhenyou
selecttheVRMwiththecursor.
TheVRM/EBLarecombinedtomeasureboththe
rangeandthebearingofthespeciedtarget.

oftheVRMtodeterminethedistancebetweentwo
pointsandchangetheangleoftheEBL,relativeto
itsneworigin,toobtainthebearing.
