7. Click "Create" to add the new VLAN to the list of available virtual local area net-
works and as a new node to the desktop.

Click " Activate" in the toolbar at the top of the desktop to apply your configura-
tion changes.
The remaining settings depend on the VLAN you wish to set up. For more information,
see "VLAN Zones Settings" on page 76.
4.7 Setting Up Port Forwarding
gateprotect Firewall supports "Port Forwarding" rules which can be defined to forward
connections from a source port range to a given IP address and target port range for a
specific zone.
The following example shows how to set up port forwarding.
1. Navigate to "WAN > Port Forwarding" .

Click the plus button
in the item list bar.
An editor panel is opened, allowing you to configure a port forwarding rule.

3. Specify a "Name" for the new port forwarding rule.
4. From the drop-down list, select the "Zone" to which you want the rule to apply.
