4.1.1 Blocking Certain Websites Using Applications

This example shows a basic blacklisting scenario that allows users full access to the

Internet, except for Amazon and eBay.

To apply this scenario to all users on your network, you have to create a separate fire-

wall rule set for each zone.

4.1.2 Blocking Certain Websites Using Web Filters

This example shows how to block all gaming-related websites using a web filter.

Create a web filter to block websites related to gaming.

1. Ensure that the web filter module is up-to-date (refer to Chapter 3.4.1.3, "Updates",

on page 33).

Navigate to "UTM > Web Filter Profiles" and click the plus button

to create a web

filter profile of the type Blacklist.
