Step Description Remark
A wireless network named “Controller”
should appear.
Connect the device to the wireless
network called “Controller”.
Ignore the following warnings from your smartphone, tablet,
or computer:
- The Internet is not available.
- This wireless network has no Internet access.
Connect anyway.
- Unsecured network
- The process of connecting to the Wi-Fi may take a
while.
- Similar warnings may vary depending on the device
used.
The smartphone, tablet or computer is
only used as a display device to connect
the kiln controller to the router or the
desired wireless network (Wi-Fi). Make
sure you follow the steps below.
Open the web browser on your
smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Possible with all common web browsers.
Enter “192.168.100.1” in the address bar
and go to this address.
This “web interface”, now displayed in the web browser,
consists of 2 tabs, but only the “Wi-Fi Connection” tab is
important for establishing the connection.
A list of available wireless
networks/routers (Wi-Fi) is now displayed
in the “Wi-Fi Connection” tab.
The controller searches for a network, while the
smartphone, tablet or computer only acts as a display
device.
Note:
A network with a weak signal may appear in the list in the
“Wi-Fi Connection” tab of the web browser on the
smartphone, tablet or computer. However, the controller
cannot find this network because the transmission and
reception power of the controller is nothing like that of a
smartphone, tablet or computer.
The appropriate wireless network/router
(Wi-Fi) should now appear in this list as
available.
Select the wireless network/router in the
web interface and enter its access data
(network key).
You should be able to find the access data in the
documents attached to the router, or you should have
received it for access to the wireless network (Wi-Fi)
(network key).
Attention: Not for WPA2 Enterprise!
The access data for the wireless network (Wi-Fi) does not
correspond to access with a username and a password in
a wireless network with the WPA2 Enterprise security
protocol.
Confirm with Save/OK and close the web
browser.
A successful connection to the wireless router is displayed.
The controller is now connected to the
wireless network/router. (The
smartphone, tablet or computer are only
display and selection devices here.)
If this procedure is unsuccessful, repeat the steps starting
at step 1 or try to connect as described in the previous
section.
Switch the controller off and then switch
it on again immediately.
The controller is now permanently connected to the
configured wireless network/router (Wi-Fi).
