9.3. Replacing the control system fuse
9.3.1. General description
If the control system cannot be switched on and other malfunctions are excluded, check or replace the fuse in the
control system housing.
9.3.2. Required spare part
Micro-fuse 0.5 A T (slow-blow), ceramic

9.3.3. Replacing the fuse

Switch off the control unit.

Switch off the kiln completely.
Set the main switch on the kiln to the
“0/OFF” position and/or disconnect the
power plug.

Disconnect the connection cable of the control system
from the kiln.

Remove the fuse carrier from the underside of the
housing.
Tool:
7 mm slotted screwdriver

The fuse carrier is equipped with a bayonet fitting:
1) Place the tool in the slot of the fuse holder.
2) Press the fuse carrier in slightly with the tool.
3) Meanwhile, turn the fuse carrier slightly
anticlockwise so that it releases from the lock.
Tool:
7 mm slotted screwdriver

Remove the fuse carrier with the fuse from the housing.

Insert a new fuse. You can use the fuse in either
direction.
Fuse type:
Micro-fuse, 0.5 A, 5 mm x 20 mm,
slow-blow, ceramic
