9. Faults
9.1. Safety Information
Disconnect the control unit and kiln from the power supply before troubleshooting and
repair work.
Risk of serious personal injury, property damage and even death.
In the event of faults that you cannot rectify yourself, contact a qualified electrician, the
local specialist or the manufacturer.
In the event of faults which have to do with the kiln itself to which the control system is
connected, the instruction manual for the kiln must be followed.
Do not open the machine cover!
There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
9.2. General faults
Faults Root cause Solution
The control unit cannot
be switched on.
The kiln is not supplied with electricity.
1) Check the supply line or the
power plug of the kiln.
2) Check the fuses of the mains
connection for the kiln.
3) Please refer to the operating
instructions for the kiln.
A safety device on the kiln has triggered and
has completely switched off the energy
supply to the kiln.
Please refer to the operating
instructions for the kiln.
The control unit cable is not connected to
the kiln, or the connection is incomplete.
Check the connection cable to the
kiln.
The fuse in the control unit has tripped and
must be replaced.
Refer to the following section of
this instruction manual.
The control unit is
showing an error
message.
An error has occurred in the operation of the
control system.
Observe Section 7 of this
instruction manual.
