5.1.3. Quick start guide
Step Action
Switching on the controller

Switch on the unit by pressing the selector switch on the bottom and wait for the kiln temperature
to be displayed.
Calling up & starting or ending the firing program

Check the set program values before each program start.

Call up the firing programs with the X key.

Use the f or d keys to select the firing program.

Start the selected firing program with the j key. The indicator lamp above the j key lights up.

End the firing process by pressing the j key again. The indicator light above the j key goes out.

Call up the firing programs again with the X key.

You can call up the firing data again with the g key.

You can change the firing data with the f or d keys.

Press the g key to move on to the next firing value.

You can switch back to the previous value with the h key.

With the j key, you can exit programming mode and start the firing process immediately; all
entered changes are automatically saved.
5.1.4. Setting the date & time
General information
• A battery-backed real-time clock for the date and time display is installed in the controller.
• It compensates for leap years.
• The changeover from summer to winter time must be performed manually.
• The internal battery has a service life of approximately 10 years.
