19.2 DIGITAL TRANSPONDER
The LCD will display:
The LCD second row displays the standard of the tuned signal (SAT QPSK DVB-S, DVB-S2,
or SAT QPSK DSS).
The LCD bottom row displays the main information of the relevant bouquet:
Bouquet name (network name), after some seconds and under acceptable receiving
conditions.
Orbital position of the detected satellite.
Encryption system (encrypt), if there is at least one encrypted program in the
bouquet, after some seconds and in acceptable receiving conditions.
An S icon in correspondence with the SAT icon on the LCD frame
A lock in correspondence with the DIG icon on the LCD frame. The lock is closed when the
received signal has been correctly locked, otherwise it appears open.
CHANNEL POWER MEASUREMENT
Press and release the MEAS [5] key up to display the following screen:
The LCD second row displays the items SAT QPSK DVB-S or SAT QPSK DSS.
In the next rows, the:
Polarization and high/low band (third row on the left)
DiSEqC status (third row on the right)
Local oscillator frequency (fourth row on the left)
Symbol Rate (fourth row on the right)
information are displayed on the screen. On the LCD bottom right corner, the icon “S” and a
open lock will be displayed in correspondence with SAT and “DIG” respectively.
WHILE PERFORMING SUCH MEASUREMENTS, THE LOCK DISPLAYED AT BOTTOM
RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN WILL BE OPEN. THIS IS BECAUSE THE METER
EXPLORES THE WHOLE CHANNEL BAND IN ORDER TO DETECT THE TRUE
