20.1 MODIFY/CHANGE THE TRANSPONDER
Using the Standard Navigation Mode, highlight the transponder item and select the desired
transponder.
WARNING: only the transponder in the selected Satellite or Memory Plan can be
selected. Refer to the Chapter 18 METER CONFIGURATION : PLAN at page 56 to
change the selected Satellite or Transponder Memory Plan.
20.2 MOVING THE MARKER (FREQUENCY VALUE)
Using the Standard Navigation Mode, highlight the frequency value and move the marker.
The relevant level/channel power value will be displayed on the bottom row on the left
(MRK).
While pointing the antenna, the meter might detect the transponder pattern of an
unidentified satellite. Press once and release the HELP [7] key to tune the relevant signal
(refer to Chapter 18.2 MANUALLY TUNING THE TRANSPONDER at page 57).
20.3 EDITING THE LEVEL END OF SCALE
Highlight the top level (end of scale) value on the y-axis and rotate the encoder [D] to
increase or decrease the end of scale value.
20.4 EDITING THE SPAN VALUE
Highlight the span (SP…) value and set the desired one.
Only the pre-defined span values (from 50 MHz to FULL) can be set. No fine adjustment is
possibile.
20.5 ACTIVATE THE MAX HOLD FUNCTION
Press once and release the SPECT [4] key again.
The MaxH
icon will be displayed on the display bottom row in correspondence with the
“ENCRYPT” item on the right edge of the display.
Press once and release the SPECT [4] key again to quit the MaxHold function.
