12. Decimal
T he decimal point is set by selecting from the following 4 options:
A fter you program the decimal point, you do not need to specify a decimal
when you ring up sales or during programming. I f you use a decimal point
when you enter a price, you hear an error beep.
T he only time you use the decimal point key is when you are ringing up
the quantity of a sale under a gallonage department. For example, 10.25
gallons of gasoline or 1.875 pounds of deli meat.

To Default
R esets all the SY ST E M O ptions (System options only) to factory default
settings. I t is strongly recommended that you run a Z-report and any other
reports first (i.e. PL U , C lerk, E lectronic Journal, etc.), since resetting to
default settings may affect these reports. A fter running the Z-reports, then
return to this Parameter O ption and proceed with resetting to factory
default settings.
