The option~ Training Mode is designecLtq ~elp Y9L1.b~ome Qetter acquainted with the register mode and offers-
ariideal place ·for "beginners'
to practice transaction examples. Once the Training Mode is activated, there is
no access to any operations in the ·PRG", "X·, or'Z" mooes. Also note, the transaction numbers do not count
up in the Register Mooe until you
exit the Training Mooe. The Training Mode can be activated at any time since
it does not record any activity in the machine totals.
TO TURN ON THE TRAINING MODE
II ~PRG' + (666666) + (AMT TENDfTOTAL) II
1. Tum the key to the 'PRG' (PROGRAM) position.
2. If a PRGjZ manager password has been programmed, TYPE the (PASSWORD #), then PRESS
the (CHECK)
Key, or if you did not program a PRGjZ manager password, gcrto Step 3.
3. TYPE (666666), then PRESS the (AMT TENDfTOTAL) Key.
4. Tum the key to the "REG' (REGISTER) pOsition to resume nonnal register operations.
NOTE: The Training Mode indicator light will be displayed in the 10th position (the last position
to the far rightj
when the Training Mode is in use.
TO SHUT OFF THE TRAINING MODE

1. Turn the key to the ·PRG" (PROGRAM) position.
2. If a PRGjZ manager password has been programmed, TYPE the (PASSWORD #). then PRESS
the (CHECK)
Key. or if you did not program a PRGjZ manager password, go to Step 3.
3. TYPE (555555), then PRESS the (AMT TENDfTOTAL) Key.
4. Turn the key to the position desired.
