5.6.3 kVp, Time, and Dose Measurements with the MPD
Set up the Barracuda and the handheld computer
according to the description in Setting Up the
Barracuda for Mammography .
In this picture the MPD is placed to minimize the
influense of the heel effect of the tube.
1. Select Type of Measurement, Parameter, and Detector, as shown below.
If you use the compression paddle, make sure that you use the
correct settings, see section Corrections for the Compression Paddle
.
2. Select the correct beam quality. The beam
quality is shown in the lower right corner.
