Connect all reagent bottles, paraffin containers and activated carbon filters.
Connect all reagent bottles, paraffin containers and activated carbon filters. So that the bottle connection
check will complete properly, connect an empty bottle or container to all stations including those not used
in tissue processing.
Tissue processing will not start until Start is touched. Remember to start processing.
If tissues are left in the retort without starting tissue processing, the tissues will be damaged. One tissues
have been stored in the retort, immediately start tissue processing.
If the processing program starts from paraffin, set tissues after paraffin is filled.
Under the processing program that starts from paraffin, the preheating time before paraffin is filled is
longer. Tissues may become dry if set before the fill, so pause the processing after paraffin has been filled
and set tissues.
After tissue processing has started, confirm that the first reagent is pumped into the
retort.
The safety data sheet (hereinafter referred to as "SDS") of each reagent used can be
obtained from the supplier/manufacturer of the reagent. You can also download it
from the website of the supplier/manufacturer.
Before enabling the automatic transfer function, confirm that the first station for the
applicable solution group is empty.
If the first station contains reagent, empty the station.
Clean the bottle rack and spill tray regularly.
The paraffin temperature drops slightly when pumped into the retort, so be sure to set
the paraffin processing temperature at least 3C higher than the melting point of the
paraffin used.
Turn off the power before performing cleaning.
Unless otherwise instructed in this document, always turn off the power and disconnect the power plug
before cleaning the instrument. Do not spill liquid inside the instrument while cleaning it. If cleaner is used,
follow the safety precautions provided by its manufacturer and safety rules set by each test laboratory.
When opening or closing the fume control unit door, paraffin oven door or reagent
bottle rack door, do so with caution so as not to pinch your hand or arm.
Injury may result.
When opening or closing the retort lid, retort lock cover, etc., do so with caution so as
not to pinch your hand or arm. Close the retort lid slowly.
Injury may result. Also, reagent may scatter and chemical injury may occur.
