⑤ Take out of the black block, put the quartz cell with deionized water into the sample cell
holder, cover the sample compartment, then press to perform baseleine
correction. The indication area will display ―scanning baseline…‖. If you press
key during correction, the correction data will be lost and you should start baseline
correction again.
⑥ After baseline correction, the indicaion area will display ―Press START to measure‖. Take
out of the deionized water cell, and put the sample cell into the cell holder, cover the
samle compartment, then press key to perform spectrum scanning. The
indication area will display ―scanning baseline…‖ and the spectrum will be displayed.
Press again to stop measurement and the results will be lost.
⑦ After measurement, it will prompt the user with the information ―Press START to measure‖.
Press to set threshold value, and then perform peak picking. If peak value is not
available (indication area displays 0.000nm 0.000Abs), press to return and then
set up threshold value again (for detailed information about peak picking, please refer to
―4.5 peak picking‖).
⑧ Press to print measurement results (spectra, peaks values and wavelength etc.).
Chapter 5 Quantitative measurement
This mode allows the user to perform single-wavelength determination and construct standard curves
etc. K-Factor Method and Calibration Curve Method are available.
5.1 Gain access to quantitation mode
In the case of main menu, press key to gain access to the quantitation mode, press to
return to the main menu, as shown in Fig. 5.1:
