6.2.3 Alarms — Flash Alarms (FLASH option)
The FLASH option enables the
Flash alarms
tab. This alarm list contains the last 20,000 alarms and
keeps them in non-volatile memory so that they survive reboots and power-outages. This opens up a lot
of possibilities for probes that cannot be reached while doing measurements and for probes that need to
be powered down and consulted elsewhere. It also severely increases the size of the alarm list allowing
browsing of older alarms.
