6.5 Operation Check
< Checking Initialization and Safety Function Operations >
Verification Items
Items performed automatically during initialization operation
ROM/RAM check
Presence/absence of D2 lamp, heater current is flowing
Presence/absence of W lamp, illumination voltage is appropriate
Shutter motor operation
Shutter home position detection
Variable slit raising/lowering (voltage is generated, but operation not judged)
Checks sensors for cut wires, short circuit (lamp cover sensor, temperature controlled cell sensor,
leak sensor)
Verification of LEDs
During initialization, D2, W, indicators (green, red) light
See the instruction Manual "3.2 Turning Power ON/OFF"
Cell Temperature Control Verification
Procedure
1) Set cell temperature control to OFF.
Confirm that cell temperature monitor value is near ambient temperature (ambient - 35
C).
2) Set cell temperature to 40 C.
Confirm that cell temperature monitor value is 40 C 1 C within 10 minutes.
Leak Sensor Adjustment and Operation Check
See next item "6.9.1.1 Leak Sensor Adjustment"
Lamp Cover Sensor
Procedure
1) Turn on the lamp.
2) Remove the lamp cover.
3) Confirm that lamp cover error is generated and that lamp turns off.
Lamp Housing Temperature Sensor Operation Check
Check the lamp housing temperature using the PDA Utility "Optical Check".
After D2 lamp remains illuminated for at least 30 minutes, check that lamp housing temperature is
ambient 35 10 C.
< Leak Sensor Adjustment >
1) Perform this check using the PDA Utility "Leak Sensor Check / Correction".
2) Install the cover and right-side door, and leave the right-side door closed.
3) Start the PDA Utility "Leak Sensor Check / Correction".
4) With the sensor in the dry state, press [Function]-->[Correction], and perform the
origin adjustment.
5) Wait in this condition for several seconds, and read the "Sensor Output" of the
sensor in the dry state. ....................................................................................... A
Confirm that the reading is 95 - 105.
6) Open the right-side door, use a syringe to apply 4 drops of water to the bottom
part of the leak sensor, and close the right-side door. In the "leak" state, and read
the "Sensor Output" of the sensor. ..................................................................... B
7) Calculate the "Threshold" using the following expression, and set this threshold.
